THE MOMENT
I stand watching the sunset
I look at whats lying around me
cant help but feel remourseful
And remember the good olden days when,
everything was at our disposal, running around as kids,
enjoying the vicinity.
Struggling to survive was not part of my vocabulary
But now its the only thing we do
To beat the urges of hunger and death
People sleep no more but make every second useful,
Just like bee's are blinded by the honeymakers' smoke,
we want to evade poverty,
We work hard to send poverty to its death
And chain it in its tombstone
Challenges are so many but we overcome them,
As they say nothing comes easy,
Hoping every second to be our pride and relaxation
We need Gods guidance to survive
To lift who are down, feed the hungry, walk the crippled and
walk the talk
Mercy drops as gentle as raindrops from heaven,
It blesses him that takes and him that gives,
And makes thee strong like Hercules,
Like thee deserves to be.
