LIFE IS TOO SHORT.

Yesterday something unfortunate happened, someone I have known for some time was knocked down by a car on the highway and died on the spot. It was very unfortunate and a very sad story which I can't still believe it happened. This incident, though very sad was a learning experience for me. It opened my eyes and I learnt that LIFE IS TOO SHORT.

I realized that we do take so many things for granted, just because you see your colleague every day at work does not mean he/she is okay. A simple question like, how are you? is very important and can change ones life. I have decided to live my life like there is no tomorrow. There are so many people I have not spoken to for some time, How about I give them a call and find out how they are doing. I pick up my phone and set a lunch date with someone who when we meet, we always say ''we should sit down and have lunch together ''but it never happens. Be kind to people, enjoy life more often and discover ones destiny.

We should realize that we don’t have time; A quote by Harvey Mackay:
“Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it you can never get it back.”

For the past one week I have been reading a book by Robin Sharma ''Who Will Cry When You Die''.It is a very insightful book and makes one cherish everything you do in life. In reading this book you realize, you have to make the decision to love more deliberately, more joyfully and completely. You have to decide to live your life by choice rather than by chance, by design rather than by default.

So all the procrastinating you do, all the things you say you will do. DO IT NOW. Live your life.

''It is not enough to know what to do – we must act on that
knowledge in order to have the lives we want'' Robin Sharma
